OUR PLAY SPACES AND ETHOS

A cornerstone of our ethos is our belief in children’s right and freedom to play. We know children get great pleasure from being able to make their own choices and we encourage this at every age. Children learn skills and gain immense self-esteem when given diverse opportunities to play. Having a wide range of resources, equipment and materials for both indoor and outdoor use is an integral part of what we provide

Play areas are important for children, giving them a space for pretending, expressing themselves and using their imaginations. Play areas promote thinking, problem solving and turn taking and help children learn and develop skills in all domains. Of course, play areas are also important for developing physical dexterity and good health.
